Description
Finished from the factory in Silver Metallic (O) with orange stripes, the body was repainted in its current two-tone green in the 1990s according to the selling dealer, who notes that the frame was refinished separately. The Marti report indicates that the truck was originally equipped with the Explorer Package A, although Ranger XLT badging is now fitted. Exterior features include wing-lock mirrors and a painted rear step bumper. Cosmetic imperfections can be seen in the photo gallery below.
Black-painted 16? steel wheels wear Mastercraft Cougar 31.5? tires. Per the seller, the truck is equipped with Highboy-style springs fitted by the previous owner.
The B-code 300ci inline-six is said to have been rebuilt under previous ownership, and additional work reportedly included installation of a new clutch, a V-8–spec radiator, and brake-line replacements. Air conditioning was not originally equipped, although the seller states that all necessary components except for the compressor have been installed.
