Description
The block and head were machined, a new crankshaft, pistons, rings, all seals and gaskets were replaced with new Santana replacement parts. The Rover received an oil and fluid service in June 2015 and has covered minimal miles since. The Santana's synchromesh 4-speed gearbox is original to the vehicle and was also rebuilt during the restoration. At the same time, all drive components were removed from the chassis as well as the body. The chassis was rust-treated and painted. The leaf spring style suspension performs as it should. In 1975, all models were fitted with dual-circuit brakes as is this Rover—with the brake system working as expected.
