1972 Dodge Challenger 340 CI engine


Description


This car had a no expense spared restoration from the ground up. This Challenger is powered by a powerful 340 CI engine and the torque flight transmission.
Options include power steering, power brakes, bucket seats, center console, in dash gauges with tachometer, rally wheels, tinted glass and side stripes.
This challenger benefited from a full rotisserie restoration. The complete body was disassembled prepped and painted on a rotisserie. The underside, trunk, and engine bay was painted at the same time as the rest of the body. All suspension components were replaced with new or rebuilt parts. The 318 engine was upgraded to a 340 CI engine which was fully rebuilt with a mild cam. The transmission and rear was rebuilt as well. All new shocks, lines, brakes, and correct dual exhaust was installed. The interior was redone with a legendary interior. The bumpers were chrome plated and many OEM parts were used during the restoration. A lot of attention to detail was taken during restoration process and it certainly shows.
Upon driving this Challenger, you will quickly note that this is one awesome muscle car. The 340 engine produces a great rumble and is very smooth and powerful. The transmission shift proper and the Challenger has excellent road manners.
