Today, we cannot be certain why the factory itself ordered this particular V-Code 440 Six Pack B-body as a sales bank model (meaning no dealership specified it this way), but perhaps it was to allow a young-at-heart lady a chance to stomp on the bad boys on Saturday night or during a cruise to the shore. A favorite of Pam Wellborn’s during its 15-plus years in the collection, this Charger is also quite a rarity, as only two such Panther Pink Six Pack Charger R/Ts are documented as being built. Restored by Dale Gyorvary and maintained precisely since then, the original matching-numbers 440/390 HP Six Pack engine is under the factory hood, using three 2-barrel Holley carburetors to roar down the highway. On this car, it was backed by the A727 TorqueFlite automatic and an 8.75 differential with 3.23 gearing.
