The car was resprayed the correct Saturn Yellow lacquer w/black satin stripes and every mechanical part was either rebuilt or replaced with originality a priority.
Ordered with the desirable Stage 1 Performance Pack, the 455 V8 in this GSX was conservatively rated at 360hp and included larger valves, a hotter cam and revised carburation. Actual output was thought at the time to be closer to 400. Completing the package is an automatic transmission, air conditioning, bucket seats and Rallye wheels.
Driven sparingly since its restoration, #362 has been stored in our fully climate-controlled environment while being fully maintained. It rides and drives as it should and is ready for its next caretaker.
