1969 Chevrolet Yenko Camaro 425 HP V-8 engine

Description

L72 427/425 HP V-8 engine
4-speed manual transmission
Power steering
Power front disc brakes
Stewart Warner tachometer
140 MPH speedometer
Delco AM radio
Mag wheels with Yenko center caps
Firestone Wide Oval tires
Front and rear spoilers
Fathom Green with Black interior
Yenko stripes, emblems and SYC headrests
The powerplant in this car has the air cleaner that seals to the ZL2 hood, as well as the aluminum intake and cast-iron exhaust manifolds. It is backed by a 4-speed manual transmission and features both power steering and power front disc brakes. A second COPO code used almost exclusively by Yenko resulted in the sport suspension and 140 MPH speedometer. In addition to the factory-installed black vinyl bucket seats, Delco AM radio and Hurst floor shifter, Yenko’s crew added a Stewart Warner tachometer to the steering column on this example. The outside features both front and rear spoilers, and this car is painted in Fathom Green. Of all the first-generation Camaros, the 1969 version has been considered the summation of the era for many, with its clean grille design and excellent stance. Devoid of extras since the COPO package was not an SS model, the final touches are mag wheels with Yenko center caps and Firestone Wide Oval tires.
