The Yenko COPO 9561 package included the brutish L72 427/425 HP big-block V-8. First used in the 1966 Corvette, it employed 11.0:1 compression, a high-lift, high-duration solid-lifter cam and a high-volume 800 CFM Holley 4-barrel on an aluminum intake manifold. A cowl-induction hood, heavy-duty Muncie 4-speed or 400 Turbo Hydra-Matic, BE-code 4.10 12-bolt Positraction rear end, four-core radiator and F41 suspension completed the 9561 specification. These were augmented by the COPO 9737 Sports Car Conversion option that included power front disc brakes, 13/16-inch front sway bar, a 140 MPH speedometer and a three-gauge cluster under the dash. This beautifully restored Daytona Yellow Yenko Camaro was originally shipped in September 1969 along with three Yenko Chevelles to Grossman Chevrolet in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Fitted with D80 front and rear spoilers, rare Z21-style trim, a black vinyl roof and the original black interior, it was delivered from the factory with a column shifter and was converted by Yenko to a Hurst Dual Gate floor shifter. It additionally features optional power steering, and it rolls on Torq Thrust wheels with Yenko center caps and F70-15 Goodyear Polyglas GTs.
