Nightmist Blue with white side stripes and a black interior, the Shelby fastback is equipped with the famous dual-quad 428 CI big-block V-8 engine, 4-speed transmission, outboard driving lights and optional Shelby 10-spoke aluminum wheels with white-letter Goodyear Speedway tires. Unlike the previous 1965-66 GT350s, the 1967 Shelbys were visually distinctive from the standard Mustang fastback thanks to the first-time use of fiberglass, including the scooped hood, upper and lower side scoops, ducktail-spoiler trunk lid and rear panel with horizontal Thunderbird tail lights. While regular Mustangs utilized only two headlights, the Shelbys had four with the inclusion of high beams mounted in the grille.
