Description
This 71,000 mile truck has always had an excellent body. It is straight as an arrow. The doors open and close like new, and there is no sign of any previous body panel repair or replacement. A few years ago it was repainted. It was a proper driver quality repaint, and the truck received all new rubber gaskets at that time. The paint still has good shine, but there are a few stone chips and scratches as one would expect with normal use. All of the trim and bright work on the truck are in good driver condition. Nearly all of it appears to be the original to the vehicle.
Under the hood is the original 352 V8. It runs just as it should and shows no signs of any major leaks though there are some minor leaks as would be expected in a 52 year old truck. The rest of the engine compartment is in very clean, correct, original unrestored condition.
The underside of the truck is in excellent and clean condition.
The interior is fresh and in excellent condition. The seats and headliner look new. The carpet is excellent - nearly new, and there are no cracks or blemishes on the dash. The door panels appear to be original. The passenger side does have a few minor cracks.
It runs and drives just as it should. The air conditioning is cold and benefits from a modern compressor. The power steering is tight and the power brakes stop it firmly and in a straight line.
