1966 Ford Bronco U13 Roadster 6-cylinder engine

Description

Body-off restoration
170/105 HP 6-cylinder engine
3-speed manual transmission
Interior restored as original including Silver seat color
Factory Ford radio
Rear seat
Chrome front and rear bumpers and full wheel covers
Front locking hubs
Original Ford sealed beam headlamps
Outside drivers rear view mirror
Like all the Broncos produced in early 1966, the driveline consisted of a 170/105 HP inline 6-cylinder engine and 3-speed manual transmission, both durable enough to work in the potential places somebody might decide to take one of these “convertibles.” The sheet metal is covered in bright red with a contrasting white grille, driver’s-side mirror support, tailgate lettering and dash accents. The interior has been restored as original, including the special silver-toned seat material, and there is also a rear seat in this thoroughbred for that fun family event. Equipped with a factory Ford radio, column transmission shift, floor-mounted 4x4 shifter and round-faced speedometer, the dash and interior are notably utilitarian for its outdoor use. Of course, this is a 4-wheel drive design, complete with locking front hubs. Other brightwork here includes the chrome front and rear bumpers and full wheel covers. Original Ford sealed-beam headlamps reside in the light buckets. In 1966, opting for the Bronco U13 Roadster resulted in owning one of most interesting Ford off-road vehicles ever built, almost like a custom car in stature.
