1964 Buick Wildcat 401ci Nailhead V8


Description


This 1964 Buick Wildcat convertible is finished in white over a red vinyl interior and is powered by a 401ci Nailhead V8 paired with a 2-speed automatic transmission.  The car has spent the majority of its life in Florida.  Equipment includes a replaced convertible top, power steering & brakes, and air conditioning. 


The car is finished white with a recently installed red cloth soft top and has been professionally restored. Both front and rear bumpers are chrome and in good condition, and the car has a full-width, split row taillamp design with the Buick logo at the center.  The sides are accented by chrome trim and three spears on the front fenders, and there is a red painted pinstripe along each side.  The rear quarter panels wear scripted Wildcat badges.

The interior is fitted with red carpeting and reupholstered red vinyl bucket seats with a matching full-length center console with aluminum trim. A two-spoke red steering wheel is equipped with the Wildcat insignia at the center.  The car is equipped with factory air conditioning, and a factory push-button AM radio is installed in the dash. 

The 401ci Nailhead is equipped with a 4-barrel carburetor and Wildcat 445 air cleaner.  It resides in a fully restored engine bay with an Optima red top battery and upgrades to the ignition system.  Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 2-speed automatic transmission with a console-mounted shift lever.
