Description
Instead of having a direct injected six-cylinder, the 190 was equipped with a carbureted straight four that produced just over 105 horsepower and was able to reach top speeds of 107 mph. While not the fastest production Mercedes, the car made up for speed with a comfortable 4 wheel independent suspension. This combined with the open aired feeling and with the standard soft top made this the perfect vehicle for long distance cruising.
