Description

This classic 1955 Pontiac Chieftain 2 door station wagon is a fantastic original design presented here with subtle custom touches, much improved performance and handling, as well as incredible passenger comfort. This custom began as a "Colony" model V-8 with manual transmission. It is now presented with a very well performing 454 GM V-8 topped with an Edelbrock Street Performer polished aluminum intake mated to a Holly Performance carburetor. Extensive polished billet with chrome and aluminum make this an eye candy presentation whenever the hood is lifted. 700R Automatic Transmission, Power steering, power brakes, Weiand water pump, Jet Hot coated headers flowing to a 3" exhaust system, electric auxiliary cooling fan, smooth firewall, and more all make this a great motor. The interior is "Lazy Boy" comfortable with plush front bucket seating, center console, original Deco style speedometer, auxiliary Pro Comp gauges, air ride front system controls, AV and a very ample sound system with abundance of speakers make this a fun and comfortable ride. The exterior is equally beautiful with a merlot color lower and champagne silver above, accented with very nicely laid complimenting flames on the front. The distinctive Pontiac front end exhibits a bold bumper while the back is smoothed. All chrome, glass and paint are stunningly bright and glisten. The wagon rides with front disc brakes and rear drums which easily stop the wagon. The wheels are Nito 18" all around with very deep style featured on the rear. Goodyear ultra performance Eagle GS Fiorand P225/40ZR/18 front and P31540ZR/18 rear keep a grip on the road.
