1955 Chevrolet Bel Air 402 cubic-inch V-8 engine

Description

The shining red exterior, polished chrome grille and bumpers work well with each other to create a show-stopping appearance. Adding to the looks, this Bel Air is fitted with chrome SRRC wheels wrapped in low profile Nexen tires. Equipped for ensured stopping power and a bit of flare behind the wheels, competition black Wilwood disc brakes have been added. The classic appearance is alive and well in this custom.

Anyone that looks under the hood will quickly realize this custom One-Fifty Bel Air means serious business. Under the hood lies a chromed finish, show-stopping, rumbling 402 cubic-inch V-8 engine that produces a startling sound from the custom stainless-steel dual exhaust pipes. Connected to the engine are numerous performance enhancement parts that allow for this Bel Air to dominate its competition. Finished across the board in a shining chrome package is the Holley 750 four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, high flow water pump, and GM performance fuel pump, and that is just to name a few. The engine is backed by a Turbo 400 three-speed automatic transmission, that allows for any car enthusiast to enjoy this ride.

The interior looks as it should in a cool custom. The seating has been redone in a two-tone tweed upholstery with red piping surrounding it. The door panels have been slated with custom embossed Chevy bow tie logos that match the stunning bench seating. When looking at the original restored dash, you'll notice a new 8,000 RPM tachometer connected to it with a shining chrome finished Chevrolet steering wheel and shifter beside it. A custom-built center console with two cup holders and extra performance gauges have been added. Building upon the magnitude of the well-built interior is a Cadence AM/FM/CD stereo with a Rockford Fosgate amplifier backing it. Concealed speakers have been placed throughout the cabin, and a speaker box has been fitted in the custom upholstered trunk. All the creature comforts have been added, including power windows, power rack and pinion steering, power brakes, and most importantly air-conditioning.
