Description
The engine for our Resto-mod is a late model 350 cubic inch Small Block Chevy 4-Bolt Main V8 which incorporates a lot of performance and appearance parts like the aluminum intake, performance carb, open element chrome air cleaner, finned valve covers, air conditioning, some chrome pulleys, powder coated tube headers and a very clean an detailed engine compartment.
The transmission is an 700R4 overdrive automatic transmission and is also sporting front wheel disk brakes and rear drums to further enhance the driving experience, power steering and brakes, aluminum radiator and cooling fan, as well as a throaty dual exhaust system.
The inside of our 55 is gorgeous. It has a handsome split two toned grey/black bench-seat interior and matching door panels featuring a black wrapped steering wheel, center chrome B&M shifter console, great restored dash with Autometer performance gauges and in-dash AM/FM Stereo Radio/CD player.
The seats and doors are in fantastic condition and look incredible as does the billet gas and brake assemblies.
Just as gorgeous as the interior, the exterior on our 1955 Chevy is a beautiful two-tone shade of grey/black just like the interior. The paint looks as new and is in great condition, with no dents or dings to the body that we could find.
The Resto 55 has a great stance with its 5-spoke period looking dark grey mag wheels and black-wall performance tires filling the wheel wells, tinted glass, Vintage Heat and Air, and front and rear bumper guards.
