This 1951 Chevrolet Pickup emerged powered by a fresh 383/450 HP stroker V-8 engine with a 700R4 automatic transmission sending power to a Ford 9-inch rear end with Detroit Locker gears. The 383 stroker is fed by a 770 CFM Street Avenger carburetor atop a GM Performance intake manifold and uses an MSD Pro Billet distributor. Sanderson “Block Hugger” Headers feed into a 2.5-inch exhaust with Porter Mufflers, all conspiring for a great sound and magnificent appearance. Speaking of which, one peek under the hood and it’s obvious aesthetics were as important as functionality; the engine is well dressed with chrome, aluminum and painted assemblies, all set within a superb engine bay. The chassis has been treated with a 4-link rear suspension, Heidts Mustang II front suspension, 2-inch drop spindles, tubular A-arms, a front sway bar and 4-wheel power-assisted disc brakes
