Power is sent to the rear wheels by a 3-speed manual transmission with vacuum-controlled free-wheeling, synchronized second and high gears that are operated by a floor-mounted shifter. The seven-passenger touring body is Body No. 630 and is finished in white with blue moldings, upper body and fenders. The optional dual side-mounted spare tires are equipped with painted steel tire covers with stainless trim. The radiator is adorned with a stone guard and the iconic Packard Pelican mascot. Chrome-plated headlamps, fender-mounted parking lights and dual horns complete the impressive front-end appearance. The massive chrome-plated front bumper is equipped with optional vibration dampers.
