1931 Cadillac Series 370 Phaeton 135 HP V-12 engine

Description

368/135 HP V-12 engine
Engine no. 1004917
Synchronized 3-speed transmission
Side mount spares
Dual pilot ray driving lights
Dual horns
Wind wings
Radiator stone guard
Goddess radiator mascot
Cadillac accessory metal trunk
Side curtains and top boot
Wire wheels
Wide Whitewall tires
The V-12 displaced 368 CI and produced 135 HP at 3,400 RPM and 284 lb-ft of torque at 1,200 RPM. While not as powerful as the V-16, the V-12 quickly gained a reputation for its smooth operation at high revs and almost turbine-like cruising at 60 to 70 MPH, and it was still available with V-16 coachwork. Similar in design to the Fleetwood Sport Phaeton, this 1930 Cadillac Series 370 with a 140-inch wheelbase uses the Fisher dual-cowl coachwork without roll-up windows. Powered by a V-12 engine with 3-speed Synchromesh transmission, it is well equipped with dual side-mounted spares, wire wheels, dual Pilot Ray driving lights, dual horns, wind wings, a radiator stone guard, Goddess radiator mascot and a proper Cadillac accessory metal trunk, as well as side curtains and a top boot. The car has been well preserved since the restoration, its Maroon and Cream paint remaining fresh and the interior clean and supple, with bright trim in fine condition throughout.
